Candice Tavares is a self taught illustrator and wood artist. Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Candice now lives and creates in Maryland. Though she is not formally trained in art, Candice has been able to merge lessons she learns in Saturday morning art classes and in the wood shop with her dad to create a style that is uniquely her own.
